Baptist Chapel
Baptist Chapel is located in Nairobi where Reverend Euticauls Wambua is the Pastor. Reverend Wambua started Baptist Chapel along with two others in 1996. Since 1996 the church has grown tremendously. The church is currently suffering from space limitations and desperately needs room to expand so that they can serve the many people who desire to worship there. Baptist Chapel currently serves over 300 people and they have just finished a major matching fundraising effort with MissionLink International in which they were able to raise enough money to purchase one additional plot of land.
Construction Needs
Land
There are 4 more plots adjacent to the church that we want to purchase each at $6,000.00 for total of $24,000.00. The vision for the land includes expansion of the worship center, a permanent infirmary, and a Missions house where teams could stay while in Nairobi
Building
We want to construct a permanent 3 story stone building on land that the church already owns for Bible Study, Sunday School, and Prayer rooms. Cost of this project would be around $40,000.00.
Home
Rev Wambua and his family currently live in a very small rental apartment. We would like to provide Pastor Wambua’s family with a home that would enable him to host visiting pastors and small mission teams. This would impact the cost for visiting pastors and teams as well as decrease Pastor Wambua’s travel time and expense associated with accommodating teams. As an additional benefit, Jane, Pastor Wambua’s wife, an excellent cook, is very accustomed to taking all the precautions necessary when cooking for and hosting Americans and other non-nationals. The cost of the house would be around $40,000. Interested? Please contact us.
